Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in dental assisting, orthodontics, and dental receptionist duties. Knowledge of CAD, Epic, Pediatrics, Akitu One, and medical terminology is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and breakdown treatment rooms
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Manage patient records and documentation
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
- Perform various office tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and dental receptionist duties
- Familiarity with CAD software and Epic electronic health records system is advantageous
- Proficiency in any dental practice management software
- Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
