Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
As a Dental Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
- Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Taking sidexis digital dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
- Managing patient records using dental software Abeldent
- Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Assisting with orthodontic procedures and working with pediatric patients when necessary
- Maintaining inventory of dental supplies and placing orders as needed
- Itero scanner and photographs
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in dental assisting all prosedures
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Abeldent
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members
- Certification in Dental Assisting
