Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a friendly and professional environment. This position involves assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring that the dental office runs smoothly.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and documenting treatments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk as needed, including handling patient inquiries.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is a mandatory.
- knowledge of abeldent a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
