Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Demi Chef de partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a CDP, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling techniques.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Help maintain equipment by cleaning and performing basic maintenance as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
