Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Delivery Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the delivery of goods to customers, ensuring that products are handled with care and delivered in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and the ability to perform heavy lifting as part of their daily responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist the driver in loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring all items are secured and accounted for.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks, including moving large packages and equipment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to provide updates on delivery status.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the warehouse and delivery vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during deliveries.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills in heavy lifting and moving are essential for this role.
- Familiarity with commercial driving practices is a plus, though not required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- A background in customer service will be beneficial for enhancing client relationships.
