LEARN HOW TO CREATE VIDEOS & GET PAID!

Youth Media Project is a program for community action through media involving 7 participants between the ages of 16 – 30. In this 13-week program, youth receive training in video production by making their own film that screens locally in the community. They also work with a network of community partners to create videos through work placements - highlighting community resources, and presenting ideas for community change.

TO APPLY YOU MUST BE:

-Interested in art & video

-Between the ages of 16 and 30

-Not attending school full-time

-Legally entitled to work in Canada

-Not on EI

-Seeking employment after the program

PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE

-Full-time (30-34 hrs/wk) minimum wage paid training and employment (13 Weeks)

-Experience in video production, basics of graphic design & editing skills

-Consultations in career development
