Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various administrative functions, including data entry, sales management, and customer relationship management. This position is essential for maintaining efficient operations and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction within our organization.
Duties
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date records in the system.
- Assist in managing sales processes, including inside sales and account management.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to facilitate effective transactions.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Support freight operations by coordinating logistics and tracking shipments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Utilize 3PL (third-party logistics) systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Experience
- Previous experience in sales or inside sales is preferred.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and freight operations is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Proficiency in data entry with a keen eye for detail.
Understanding of governmental PGAS, knowledge of CAD, HS Codes, Import Surtaxes, SIMA, and experience in customs clearance procedures is an asset.
Ability to speak Mandarin and Cantonese is an asset but not required
