Industrial Plastics & Paints is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative (CSR). This person will work directly with customers in-store to serve their needs in our Mission, BC branch. Saturday availability is mandatory.
The ideal candidate has great communication skills and enjoys working on projects with materials like 3D Printing, Paints, Arts & Crafts, Castable Resins, Ceramics, Composites, Fiberglass or Plastic Materials.
We specifically need a CSR (Customer Service Representative) with experience working in a shop environment and with woodworking hand tools and forklift experience.
This is a part-time role to work Saturdays and help cover open/close shifts during the week.
We offer cut-to-size services at this location, and must be comfortable safely operating a vertical panel saw and table saw to cut sheet goods into specific dimensions on customer request, as well as using a forklift to load and unload deliveries.
Our most successful employees enjoy problem-solving and are makers themselves with personal experience using the type of products we stock and sell.

Capabilities:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Operate cash register & Process cash money, cheque, and credit/debit card payments.
- Experience with safely using woodworking hand tools including table saw, skill saw, drill press, and router.
- Experience and ability to hold a Forklift License.
- Customer service oriented.
- Ask detailed application questions to customers to provide technical guidance and advice about product solutions for their project needs.
- Provide cost estimates on materials.
- Suggestive selling and Value Selling are critical to your success.
- Work with personal accountability and self-motivation.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
