Job Summary
This position focuses on performing general clerical works, inside sales and basic accounting support in our electronics manufacturing facility in SE Calgary.
The position requires a high level of interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines for different departments and staff.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support to ensure efficient operation in our office environment.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include , but are not limited to:
- Provide exemplary customer service.
- Coordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Work collaboratively with other sales, production, purchasing and accounting to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Develop an understanding of the costing breakdown.
- Develop a strong understanding of Rail Locomotive parts.
- Minor accounting support
Qualifications
Key requirements of the position include:
- 1 - 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experiences in a very similar role
- Ability to multi-task, handle competing priorities with a calm, controlled demeanor.
- Proficiency in MS office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with technical communication and documentation is an asset
- Able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong self-starter, operationally focused; a problem -solver. Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills
- Must be energetic and can work independently and as a team member in a multifaceted, high-paced environment.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year

- Calgary, AB T2C 2X4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
