FMF Glass Hardware is currently seeking a full-time front desk associate to join our team. A very team driven company with a lot of room for growth. We are expanding our team as we are transitioning into a new side of the industry.
We are looking for a multi-tasker who is committed to their work, with exceptional communication skills and upbeat attitude. Candidates should assist management and all visitors to the company by handling day to day office tasks, polite and professional assistance via email, phone, and positive presence in the workplace.
To become a successful candidate at FMF Glass Hardware, candidates should be attentive, prepared, and responsive while willing to meet challenges directly. The Front Desk Associate position requires to be an individual who is computer friendly and receives orders on the phone or email.
Responsibilities Include:
· Greet and assist visitors/customers
· Using the computer to generate reports, sales, inventory etc.
· Answering questions, and addressing complaints
· Checking, sorting, and forwarding emails
· Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers
· Training to familiarize in superior product knowledge
· Introducing promotions, opportunities, and cross-selling products to customers
Preparing orders for clients & assisting with the warehouse team
Requirements Include:
· Prior customer service experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills
· Attention to fine detail
· Desire to be proactive and take initiative
· Professional appearance
· The ability to stand, walk, and may have to carry weight up to 50lbs.
· Knowledge of office management and bookkeeping
· Highschool diploma or equivalent qualification
· Basic accounting knowledge & skills
Most importantly, our team members intend to work with us in a long-term scope.
This position would require working from Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm
