We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with a focus on food safety and handling. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food handling and safety standards are strictly followed to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and place orders as needed to ensure availability.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health regulations.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and equipment usage.
- Engage with guests when necessary to provide exceptional service and address any dietary concerns.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing a team effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with bartending is a plus, enhancing the overall dining experience for guests.
- A passion for culinary arts and creativity in menu planning is essential.
