The Leisure Days RV Group is looking for Controllers to join the finance team. This is a full-time role in the Ottawa area.

Overview:
The Controller oversees all aspects of financial management for one or more company dealerships. This includes accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and payroll. In this role, you will balance the needs of local leadership with that of the senior management team.
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships.
Prepare financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision making.
Process bi-weekly payroll, manage employee records, prepare ROE’s and T4’s.
Prepare and submit government sales tax and WSIB returns.
Stay up to date with accounting regulations and best practices.
Train, mentor and supervise members of the accounting staff (if applicable).
Qualifications:
CPA designation
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
Several years of experience in accounting, budgeting and financial planning and analysis.
Experience with dealer management systems (i.e., IDS, PBS, CDK) is an asset.
Supervisory experience, especially in a financial setting is an asset.
Proficient in accounting software and other relevant technologies.
Proficient with MS 365 tools, particularly Excel.
Financial experience in a dealership setting is an asset.
