We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance to individuals, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients
- Support individuals with dementia or memory loss by engaging in meaningful activities and providing companionship
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors

Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic healthcare procedures, including medication administration, is a plus
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals requiring care
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Understanding of the importance of maintaining client confidentiality
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed

Skills:
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean living environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Nursing Skills: Possess basic nursing skills such as medication administration and monitoring vital signs.
- Assisted Living: Familiarity with providing care in an assisted living facility or similar setting.
- Senior Care: Experience working with elderly individuals, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
- Dementia Care: Knowledge of techniques for supporting individuals with dementia or memory loss.
- Caregiving: Ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals in need.
- Hospice Care: Understanding of end-of-life care principles and providing comfort to patients and their families.
- Meal Preparation: Ability to prepare nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Nursing Home: Familiarity with the operations and care provided in a nursing home setting.
