Russell Hendrix Foodservice Equipment is looking to add a Project Manager to our Contracts team in Vancouver. You’ll be an indispensable leader in the teams’ operations, working directly with clients to ensure the project deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. This is an ideal position for a motivated individual with experience in construction project management, who is an adaptable communicator with excellent active listening and negotiation skills.

What You’ll Do:
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Define project tasks and resource requirements.
- Contract negotiation.
- Develop full scale project plans.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Manage project resource allocation.
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Provide direction and support to project team.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Regularly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
- Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Perform project evaluations and assess results.
- Monitor site safety and ensure that the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act are enforced.
Desired Skills and Experience
- A university or college diploma in a related field is an asset.
- You have 2-4 years of experience in residential or commercial construction projects.
- You have experience with AutoCAD.
- You have an excellent understanding of and ability to read mechanical plan drawings.
- Your verbal and written communication skills are excellent.
- You have a track record of strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- You have a keen attention to detail.
- You are able to travel to job sites, as required by project needs.
- You are comfortable with a flexible schedule, able to adjust based on project needs.
