Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and completion of construction and contracting projects. Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, they help manage documentation, schedules, communications, and administrative tasks to ensure projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget.
Project Coordinator – Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating project activities from start to closeout.
- Prepare, track, and maintain all project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to gather required documents, certifications, and scheduling information.
- Support the creation and maintenance of the construction schedule by updating task progress and tracking deadlines.
- Helped manage project files and ensured all documentation was current and properly stored.
- Communicate with site staff to collect updates, relay information, and assist in resolving on-site issues.
- Assist with cost tracking, invoicing support, and preparation of monthly progress billings.
- Ensure all Health & Safety and compliance documents are properly filed and up to date.
- Provide administrative and technical support to the Project Manager, Site Superintendent, and Operations team as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
- Experience grading, excavating and building Roads and/or Parking Lots
- Proven project coordination experience with a strong understanding of project management principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and respond to project needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
- Experience supporting program or project management in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and external partners
- Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project)

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
