Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional individual to join our team at Tried & True Builders Ltd. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in transporting materials and tools safely and efficiently to various job sites.
Responsibilities
- Transport materials to job sites in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety compliance.
- Load/unload materials and verify deliveries with site crews or clients
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed, including heavy lifting.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for tracking purposes.
- Communicate effectively with office and field teams regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service to clients and contractors
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with deliveries, able to lift 50+ lbs
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Construction or delivery experience is an asset
- Reliable, organized, and strong time management skills
