Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor tasks as assigned by the supervisor
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Clean and prepare job sites
- Operate hand and power tools
- Operate heavy machinery, including construction vehicles and scissor lift
- Assist with construction projects as needed
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment
- Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in construction required, 3 plus years preferred
- Drywall, taping, and construction experience an asset
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to work in different environmental conditions (indoors/outdoors, hot/cold)
- Must be comfortable working at heights and tight spaces
- Working at Heights certificate is an asset
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of hand and power tools
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- G Driver's license with a clear driver's abstract, preferably have own vehicle
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Ability to work overtime and weekends
