We are looking for an experienced Masonry, Siding, and EIFS Estimator to join our team at our CONCORD, Ontario location. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction estimating, strong negotiation skills, and expertise in software tools like Planswift, Bluebeam and AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precise take-offs for masonry (block, brick, stone, etc.), siding, and EIFS projects.
- Review project specifications and drawings to create accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Leverage construction estimating software to develop detailed bids.
- Negotiate competitive pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Track and monitor project costs throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Contribute to the development of project budgets and timelines.
- Participate in project meetings, offering valuable cost-related insights.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in construction estimating, particularly in masonry, siding, and EIFS projects.
- Proficiency with Planswift, Bluebeam, AutoCAD for panel production, and other relevant software tools.
- Strong ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Solid understanding of project coordination principles.
