Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Attendant's to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring a safe environment and being attentive to the changing conditions of industrialized work
Duties
- Ensuring that all required perimetry is filled out.
- Be attentive to the needs of the occupants of the space
- Use the provided PPE and other devices as per training and requirements.
- Explain to entrants the possible hazards, mitigations, gas testing results, etc., etc. in place to ensure there safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas.
- Ensure an accurate accounting of the entries and exits in the space.
- Summon the rescue team in the event of an emergency
Requirements
- Previous experience working in industry is preferred.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Must have own transportation.
- Willing to work away from home. (accommodations and Meal allowance provided)
- Must be able to be presentable to clients. (professional attitude and attire).
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
- Be able to operate effectively under pressure/ in emergency scenarios.
- Ability to be attentive for long shifts (12 hour shifts day and night shifts available).
Additional information
- Over time available on all shifts (after 8 hours on Monday to Friday shifts and double time on weekends).
- 12.5% night shift premium on regular time hours.
- All training provided (perimetry training, Confined space awareness and Work Place Standard first aid). Certifications given at end of week/ shut.
- There are 2 other shuts with the same requirements after this one leaving opportunity's for additional work.
- Opportunity to get an introduction to work in the industrialized trades.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 week
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 48 – 72 per week
