We are seeking a Boom Pump Operator to operate our 32-meter and 36-meter concrete boom pumps on residential and light commercial job sites. The ideal candidate will have experience driving and operating large vehicles and a commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain a 32m or 36m concrete boom pump on job sites.
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance of the pump truck to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Drive pump truck to and from job sites in compliance with all traffic and safety regulations.
- Set up and take down the pump, ensuring a safe and stable work zone.
- Communicate with site supervisors, finishers, and crew to coordinate pumping operations efficiently.
- Monitor the pump during operation to prevent blockages or mechanical issues.
- Clean out the pump and hoses at the end of each pour to company and environmental standards.
- Complete all required paperwork including job tickets and inspection logs in a timely manner.
- Represent the company professionally on job sites, upholding our standard of cleanliness and courtesy.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement (or equivalent commercial license).
- Proven experience operating large commercial vehicles or equipment.
- Vehicle to get to and from the work yard
- Ability to lift heavy objects, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
Preferred
- Previous experience operating concrete boom pumps.
- Background in the concrete or construction industry.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic repairs or maintenance.
