Concrete Labourer

DeFord Contracting Inc. is looking for a hardworking Concrete Labourer for Civil Construction city projects in and around the Greater Edmonton Area.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation, placement, and finishing of concrete on various civil projects
- Set up and dismantle formwork for curbs, sidewalks, and other concrete structures
- Use hand tools and power tools to spread, level, and smooth concrete
- Ensure proper curing of concrete surfaces
- Load and unload construction materials and tools
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite, adhering to all company and OH&S safety standards
- Support other labour and site activities as needed under the direction of the Site Foreman or Concrete Lead
Qualifications:
- Must possess reliable transportation
- Must have previous experience working with concrete, or in construction
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for long hours
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and team-oriented attitude
