Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics, operate heavy equipment, and perform masonry tasks. This role requires physical stamina and the capability to handle heavy lifting while ensuring high-quality finishes on various concrete projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up work areas for concrete pouring, including installing forms and ensuring proper alignment.
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete surfaces according to specifications and design requirements.
- Operate hand tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively during the finishing process.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Perform renovations and installations as needed, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in concrete finishing or related masonry work is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete forming techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and project plans accurately.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
