A new Cocktail/Retro Arcade Venue opening up in the exchange is seeking skilled and enthusiastic Cocktail Bartenders to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating delicious beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices.
- Assist with food service as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to patrons at the bar.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Skills
- Strong cash handling skills and proficiency in basic math for accurate transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations in the food industry.
- Experience working with POS systems for order processing and payment handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Classic cocktail, extensive spirits knowledge preferred
