Job Description:
We're seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a CNC Plasma Table Operator and CAD Technician. This is an entry-level to intermediate role, ideal for someone new to the trade or with a couple of years of experience. You’ll work closely with our fabricators to design and cut parts, helping bring projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a CNC plasma cutting table
- Program parts using CAM software (experience with FlashCut or similar is a bonus)
- Create detailed shop drawings and flat patterns using CAD software (such as Fusion 360 or SolidWorks)
- Collaborate with fabricators and welders to ensure parts are accurate and functional
- Help improve workflows and nesting efficiency to reduce material waste
- Assist with general shop duties as needed
Requirements:
- Basic experience with CAD software (school or self-taught is fine)
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take feedback
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have (but not required):
- Experience with CNC machinery or metal fabrication
- Familiarity with plasma cutting or welding processes
- Knowledge of CAM programming or nesting software
Wage Range:
$18 – $24 per hour, depending on experience and skill level
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
