The Produce Clerk is responsible to carry out a variety of duties in a professional, safe, accurate and timely manner. Exceptional customer service is expected, as is working respectfully in a team environment. The Produce clerk reports directly to the Produce Manager.
Job Description
- Adherence to all Food Safety Protocols, OH&S procedures, store policies, programs and initiatives.
- Assist and answer customer questions and concerns, providing them with a positive shopping experience.
- Keep work area neat and presentable. Prepare fruit and vegetables for freshcut.
- Handle, organize and rotate product in accordance with store policy.
- Load carts, stock tables and put away order. Other duties as required.
Job Requirements
- Ability to work quickly and independently.
- Being open to change and new ideas.
- Availability for a variety of shifts including some weekends and evenings.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and spend entire shift standing/walking.
No experience necessary, training will be provided to the right candidate.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
