Note:
This opportunity starts as a contract role to help us design a 4-week inpatient addiction and mental health program. Once the program is built, we’re also looking to hire a full-time Clinical Director to oversee, implement, and lead the program long-term.

Applying for the full-time position is optional. We welcome candidates interested in only the contract portion as well.

Descriptions for both positions / "phases" are below:

Phase 1 – Contract Work (Program Development)
Estimated 30–40 total hours over 4 weeks, with a minimum commitment of 8 hours per week.

-You will collaborate on the development of our 4-week inpatient program and help prepare us for launch. Responsibilities include:

-Designing the clinical framework and daily/weekly schedule

-Outlining both group and individual session structures

-Ensuring the program is trauma-informed, culturally safe, and aligns with best practices

-Creating materials to support staff implementation and training

-Aligning the program with OHIP billing, accreditation, and Ministry of Health standards

-Structuring clinical documentation flow, care planning, and client file storage systems

-Advising on staffing needs and scopes of practice

Phase 2 – Full-Time Clinical Director Role (Post-Launch):
Upon successful collaboration and launch, we hope to bring the right candidate into a permanent leadership position as Clinical Director. Responsibilities will expand to include:

-Providing clinical supervision to all staff and ensuring quality of care

-Overseeing client intake, treatment planning, documentation, and discharge

-Leading staff training on clinical programming and delivery

-Coordinating outreach with community partners

-Supporting and maintaining compliance with regulatory and funder requirements

-Acting as the primary liaison with funders, partners, and the Ministry of Health

-Leading ongoing program evaluation and refinement to maintain standards of excellence

-Ensuring clinical documentation, file storage, and minimum billing standards are met

Ideal Candidate:

-Registered Social Worker, Nurse, Psychotherapist, or Addiction Specialist (e.g., CRPO, OCSWSSW, CNO, etc.)

-Demonstrated experience in designing and leading clinical programming

-Familiarity with Ontario’s mental health system, OHIP billing pathways, and compliance regulations

-Skilled in trauma-informed, culturally competent, and client-centered care

-Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

-Passionate about community healing and building a treatment model that prioritizes equity and access

Location:
-Remote-friendly during the program design phase (Phase 1)
-In-person for post-launch (GTA-based is ideal) (Phase 2)

Budget:
-Contract work: Flexible (hourly or project-based)
-Full-time salary: Competitive and based on experience

If you’re ready to help us launch something meaningful — and potentially step into a leadership role that changes lives — we’d love to hear from you.

Let’s build something powerful together.
