Job Description
The Clerical Associate will provide service in a customer-focused manner. You will facilitate the delivery of patient care by providing a high level of support and assistance to program staff as well as patients and families.
Accountabilities:
- Registration
- Effectively interacting with patients and staff
- Visitor and telephone reception
- Word processing and other data entry/computer applications
- Maintaining an organized work environment
- Supporting the efficient operation of department
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing and comprehension)
- Post secondary education
- Medical terminology required
- Typing skills of 45/wpm required
- Proficient in Meditech Patient Registration and MSM medSchedule
- Proficient in Word/Excel and other Microsoft Office applications required
- Knowledge of provincial data collection system for addictions (Catalyst) preferred
- Ability to react appropriately in a crisis situation
- Recent related experience as clerical associate
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Commitment to quality and customer service
- Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration
- Excellent attendance and work record
- May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites
Additional Information
Currently Days/Evenings, including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with the collective agreement)
Salary:
Minimum: $25.54 per hour
Maximum: $27.66 per hour
