Role Overview:
As the Chef de Cuisine you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring that every dish is executed to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste. You will work closely with the restaurant’s management team and Executive Chef to craft menus, develop and maintain efficient kitchen systems, and manage our kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of culinary professionals to produce exceptional food.
- Work hands on with your team daily.
- Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently, maintaining high standards for food quality, presentation, and sanitation.
- Uphold strict food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service.
- Stay up-to-date with food trends, industry best practices, and new techniques.
- Foster a positive and creative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing a team in a from scratch cooking establishment.
- Well established culinary skills with an understanding of cooking techniques and presentation.
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Integrity that is demonstrated daily through your interactions with co-workers and work ethic.
