Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Level II Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. This position in a Permanent position consisting of 25 - 32 hours per week. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
- Manage patient scheduling, including appointments and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems - Tracker
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
