Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare instruments and equipment according to safety protocols.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and intra-oral photos as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix.
- Educate patients on regular oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
- Handle administrative tasks including patient follow-ups and inventory.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred
- Proficient in using dental software systems (Dentrix).
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Experience working with children in a pediatric setting is advantageous.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
