Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with dental assisting experience and a passion for patient care.
Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays - Perform basic dental procedures, such as cleanings and fluoride treatments - Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients - Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records - Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed - Specialize in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, or other areas as required
Experience: - Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures - Familiarity with dental receptionist duties is a plus - Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desired - Proficiency in using dental software is preferred
