Established in 2018, Noble Pie was born out of practice, patience, and obsessive experimentation. Transitioning from a pop-up to full-service brick and mortar restaurant in 2021, we remain committed to providing exceptional pizza in a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Maker to join our team on a casual/part-time basis. This role is perfect for individuals with prior pizza-making experience who are looking to supplement their work hours or pursue their passion for pizza-making alongside other commitments.
Candidates must be available for two shifts per week to start (Wed + Thurs at first to get up to speed), typically scheduled on evenings or weekends starting between 3-3:30pm, with each shift lasting 5-6 hours. Depending on staffing needs, additional shifts will be required for extra coverage, with total hours ranging from 5-6 hours per week to a maximum of 10-15 hours (1-3 shifts).
Starting wage is $17/hour + great tips & discounted/free food.
Evening Shift: Evenings & Weekends. Shifts typically start @ 3-3:30pm and end between 9pm-10pm.
Qualifications:
- A passion for pizza (both eating and making it)!
- Previous experience making pizza in a commercial setting required (at least 1-2 years of working with hand stretched dough).
- A flexible schedule—must be available to work evenings and weekends.
- Works well under pressure and can keep up in a fast-paced environment (a sense of urgency is a must!).
- Must be punctual, self motivated, and team-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and problem-solve.
- A strong affinity for quality and consistency.
- Customer service oriented.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and frequently lift up to 50 pounds or more.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with stretching/topping/finishing/boxing/plating pies.
- Operate the pizza oven while maintaining proper temperature controls and consistent bakes.
- Assist with daily kitchen prep including, but not limited to: making sauce, shredding cheese, slicing meats, making sausage, cutting vegetables, etc.
- Ensure all orders are ready on time and made accurately to customer specifications.
- Keep work station clean, stocked, and well organized.
- Clean dishes and prep stations.
- Practice proper sanitation and safe food handling.
