Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team at Dracula's Haunted Castle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the transaction process.
- Promote our haunted attraction, detailing the experience to enhance customer experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to product knowledge and sales techniques.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.42 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
