Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years experience in various carpentry techniques and a strong understanding of construction principles.
Duties,
- Oversee and supervise carpentry projects, ensuring all work meets company standards and project specifications.
- Lead a team of carpenters, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan and execute projects effectively.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures by all team members.
- Monitor project progress, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
- Coordinate with other departments and report project status to management regularly.
- Prepare detailed production and other relevant reports as required.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Supervise workers and manage projects to ensure successful completion.
- Train or arrange training sessions for staff to enhance skills and performance.
- Estimate costs and materials accurately for effective budgeting and planning.
- Utilize blueprints and drawings to guide project execution and ensure accuracy.
Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Carpenter with supervisory experience, preferably in furniture manufacturing or construction.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid trade certification and a minimum of five ears of carpentry experience.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments.
