Job Posting: Overnight Security Officer, Oromocto, NB

Commissionaires NB&PEI Division is looking to hire responsible team members for a security officer role at 5 CDSB Gagetown in Oromocto, New Brunswick.

Location: Oromocto, NB

Hours: Overnight Shift- 10pm to 6am

The Role: The Overnight Security Officer is responsible to enforce established rules and regulations to ensure the protection of people, property, and information. Assigned duties include a combination of static and roving patrols.

We are seeking candidates with:

• Physical fitness to perform interior and exterior rounds (including stairs) in all types of environmental conditions - may also require standing, sitting and driving for extended periods of time

• Strong communication and dispute resolution skills

• A positive, proactive, problem-solving approach to tasks

• Customer service experience

• Valid Driver’s License

• Clean Criminal Record Check

The successful candidate must be able to:

• Maintain high levels of confidentiality

• Demonstrate sound judgement in addressing conflict situations

• Able to get an enhanced Security Clearance

Designated Veteran Status is an asset but not a requirement.
