Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests have a pleasant dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a willingness to help others, and the ability to communicate effectively within a team.
Duties
- Efficiently wash and polish glassware, utensils and front-of-house equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the back service area, including sweeping and mopping floors.
- Assist in busser duties by clearing tables promptly and resetting them for new guests.
- Help with tasks as needed, ensuring that all food safety standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and satisfaction.
- Support the overall cleanliness of the restaurant by taking out trash and recycling as necessary.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills in food service and hospitality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards helping others.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and guests.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
