Summary
We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Business Process Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will lead cross-functional workshops, create detailed process maps and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and define roles and responsibilities across the business. Working closely with teams in Finance, Operations, and other departments, you will help identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, accountability, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead process discovery and design workshops with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and align on objectives
- Create and maintain process maps and support documentation, including developing and maintaining SOPs
- Define and document roles and responsibilities within business processes, including creation of RACI matrices
- Analyze current-state workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design future-state processes that align with business goals
- Support project and task tracking using platforms such as Smartsheet or similar project management tools
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting dashboards to evaluate process performance
- Ensure process designs comply with internal controls, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with Finance and related departments to ensure processes align with accounting cycles, including Record to Report (RTR), Procure to Pay (PTP), and internal control frameworks
- Provide training and support during implementation of new or revised processes
- Assist with change management activities and promote a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5–7 years of experience in business process analysis, operations, or process improvement roles
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops and collaborate across departments
- Strong skills in process mapping and documentation
- Experience using workflow/project management tools such as Smartsheet
- Ability to develop SOPs, RACI matrices, KPIs, and dashboards
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and process visualization tools
- Preferred:
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or automation platforms
- Experience with Sage 300 and Power BI is a strong plus
- Certification in Business Process Management
- Experience in change management or transformation projects
