Job Summary
TK HOME is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles. We can offer as a central office either of our locations in Aurora and Richmond Hill. Our new Bookkeeper has to be experienced in retail and wholesale. We do import and export as well. The job includes bookkeeping for multiple associated corporations.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including budget analysis and account analysis.
- Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify transactions and balances.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for efficient record-keeping.
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial insights.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with payroll processing is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of account reconciliation processes is essential.
