Camelot Golf & Country Club is seeking friendly, reliable, and customer-focused individuals, to join our team as Hut/Beverage Cart Servers at our premium golf course. As a Hut/Beverage Cart Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to golfers and guests while maintaining a clean and organized environment. You will be an essential part of the guest experience, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and promoting a welcoming atmosphere at all times.
~Must have own transportation, as public transportation does not service our location~
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet golfers and guests warmly and professionally as they approach the hut or cart.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, offering recommendations when appropriate.
- Prepare and serve food and drinks quickly and efficiently, adhering to golf course standards.
- Ensure all items are properly stocked, organized, and ready for service at all times.
- Process customer payments, bill members, and take card transactions using the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness of the hut and cart, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning dishes, and emptying trash as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of simple menu items, such as sandwiches, snacks, or beverages.
- Ensure all food and beverages are served according to safety and health guidelines.
- Monitor guests' needs and address any concerns or issues promptly.
- Uphold the golf course’s standards of service, hospitality, and professionalism.
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of products and communicate any low stock levels to management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a food service or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage handling and safety procedures.
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
