Moodbe Cafe & Bites is a cozy independent café located in the heart of Vancouver. We proudly serve high quality coffee and a delightful selection of baked goods – all made in-house. We’re passionate about quality, creativity, and creating a welcoming space for both customers and team members.
Job Overview:
We are looking for two enthusiastic, reliable, and skilled Baristas (All-Rounders) to join our growing team – one Full-Time (25–40 hrs/week) and one Part-Time (15–25 hrs/week). You’ll be responsible for both coffee service and baking, so basic baking skills and barista experience are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks and other beverages
- Assist with daily baking and preparation of baked goods (e.g. cookies, scones, pound cakes)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and kitchen area
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service
- Open and close the café depending on shift schedule
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months of barista experience
- Basic baking knowledge and hands-on experience in a kitchen or café setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Preferred:
- Food Safe Level 1 certification
- Passion for coffee and baking
