About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General/Operations Manager for maternity leave coverage. Part-time hours are available starting in August, with full-time hours available in September, until September 2026. The opportunity to stay on with Birdies after the mat-leave period will be available for the right candidate.
We're looking for someone:
- hard-working, reliable, open-minded and enjoys team work
- passionate about local products, can retain product knowledge, manage inventory, and establish & maintain relationships with vendors
- experienced with accounts payables/receivables, balancing tills, and POS systems
- experienced with scheduling and balancing vacation requests
- who can keep a cool head and offer great service during busy times, and can self-start during slower periods
- excited about customer service, leadership and the community
A background in the food & hospitality industry is a great asset, but not required!
