Career Opportunity – Back Shop Attendant

We are currently seeking a Back Shop Attendant to join our team. Reporting to the Head Golf Professional, the Back Shop Attendant will ensure a warm welcome to the golf club and the smooth and efficient operation of the Back shop, Cart Storage, Power Carts and Driving Range. We expect you to exceed our guest’s expectations while adhering to the standard of the Crowsnest Pass Golf Club. Our goal is to create an environment where every guest that visits The Crowsnest Pass will have an exceptional golfing experience. The Back Shop attendant is responsible for the guest’s satisfaction while he/she is at the driving range, bag drop area, or cart storage area. The highest level of professionalism is expected from our Back Shop attendants.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide a clean power cart fleet
- Provide our customers with a great driving range experience
- Provide a cart storage where all cart areas are safe and cleaned daily
- Provide clean and organized rental clubs
- Provide an amazing welcoming experience to the guest at the bag drop
- Maintain equipment and keep back shop area clean and tidy
- Assist other team member duties as deemed necessary (Pro-shop)
- Ensure that our guests are equally cared for regardless of their needs
- Ensure that all inquiries and requests are met efficiently and professionally
- Ensure that complaints are dealt with in a pleasant manner and recorded for your supervisors
- Record and document any safety hazards or other important situations and report then to your supervisor daily
- Anticipate any problems or situations in the pro shop and take action before they become a problem
- Create a professional friendly environment outside
- Attend all department meetings
QUALIFICATIONS
- Integrity: Honest, and highly developed interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
- Hard working individual with an eye for detail
- Communication: Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally across all levels of the organization. Able to effectively present information to management, employees, and customers
- Organization: Demonstrate ability to proactively prioritize, and effectively manage resources and time. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Commitment to customer service and exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communications skills
- Desire to exceed customer expectations
- Positive, goal-oriented individual
- Previous golf course experience is preferred
- Experience in a resort setting
TERMS
- Part-time or Full-time, Seasonal position
- Golf Privileges and other perks
- $15-$18/hr depending on experience
