About the opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and self-starting professional to join our Internal Audit team, supporting strategy, operations, and innovation initiatives. This role is ideal for someone passionate about risk management, data-driven storytelling, and translating complex audit and control concepts into impactful communications for executive audiences. You will work with advanced data analytics, AI, and modern visualization tools to enhance internal audit processes, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
This high-visibility position offers the opportunity to influence how Internal Audit operates and innovates while working closely with senior leadership across the organization.
What you’ll get to do
Content & Strategy Support
- Develop and maintain internal audit strategy and operational content, including charters, methodology documentation, audit plans, and risk/control frameworks.
- Support the creation of materials for Audit Committee and leadership presentations, town halls, and annual planning sessions.
- Maintain central repositories for audit knowledge management, taxonomy, templates, and best practices.
Risk & Control Intelligence
- Maintain and update the audit universe, risk/control matrices, and issue management registers.
- Support mapping of risks to industry frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF) and key business objectives.
- Collaborate with audit and risk leaders to align control content with regulatory requirements and strategic risk themes.
Data Analytics & Visualization
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to track audit status, key metrics, risk indicators, and issue trends.
- Apply data analytics and AI tools to identify audit trends, emerging risks, and performance insights.
- Create clear, impactful visualizations that communicate audit findings and strategic themes to senior stakeholders.
Technology & Innovation
- Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance content generation, audit reporting, and issue tracking.
- Pilot and scale digital solutions to improve audit planning, stakeholder engagement, and risk monitoring.
- Stay current with industry trends and introduce innovative approaches to audit operations.
Skills and experience we value
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of professional experience in audit, risk management, data analytics, or related disciplines.
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation design skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical skills and a comfort level with emerging technologies.
What would make you really stand out
- Exposure to AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) for content generation and insights.
- Familiarity with enterprise risk management and GRC ecosystems.
- Experience mapping risks to frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST CSF.
