Media Matters Inc., the powerhouse behind Collision Repair Magazine and other national B2B publications, is seeking a smart, organized, and energetic Audience Growth & Engagement Specialist to join our team at our Peterborough office.
If you’re passionate about marketing, automation, and building relationships through digital tools, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape how our brand connects with readers and advertisers across Canada.
What You'll Do: Grow and Engage Our Audience
- Capture subscriber and lead data via website forms, social media, surveys, events, and direct outreach
- Qualify subscribers and ensure they meet circulation requirements for a BPA-audited publication
- Use email, phone, and CRM tools to reach out to and retain subscribers
Build Smart Workflows
- Set up and manage automated outreach and engagement workflows (e.g., drip campaigns, list segmentation, re-engagement flows)
- Use tools like Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Zoho to track engagement, unsubscribes, and conversions
Activate Digital Channels
- Post and schedule content on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and other platforms with a focus on list growth and engagement
- Run digital contests, newsletter opt-ins, gated content strategies, and subscriber surveys
Support Advertiser Success
- Maintain and grow advertiser contact lists
- Coordinate targeted outreach and send campaign performance updates
- Support the sales team with research and lead qualification
Track and Report
- Monitor KPIs such as open rates, click-throughs, form fills, and social media growth
- Provide monthly reports with actionable insights to improve campaign performance
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in CRM, marketing automation, digital outreach, or email marketing
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Zoho
- A natural communicator who’s comfortable picking up the phone or crafting compelling messages
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple data sources
- An interest in publishing, media, or B2B communication is a bonus
