As the Assistant Studio Manager at LEAGUE, you will play a key role in driving sales, enhancing the client experience, ensuring smooth studio operations, and covering shifts for other staff when necessary. Your responsibilities are divided into four main areas: Sales (50%), Client Experience (20%), Studio Management (20%), and Studio Operations (10%).
This is an excellent position for someone with previous sales experience who is looking to step into a management role in the fitness industry. As a front-facing role, success requires being friendly, outgoing, confident in your ability to generate sales, and able to educate our clientele on the amazing offerings of our studio.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales (50%):
- Client Conversion: Convert trial clients into long-term memberships or packages by understanding their attendance patterns and offering tailored solutions. Emphasize the benefits of purchasing packages and memberships.
- Client Retention: Monitor client usage and proactively suggest package renewals or upgrades. Offer personalized recommendations to retain clients.
- Sales Goals: Meet or exceed sales targets set for each shift. Utilize provided sales lists and report detailed conversation outcomes to management.
- Sales Techniques: Implement strategies for upselling and handling objections. Use training resources to enhance your skills.
Client Experience (20%):
- Inclusiveness: Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment. Support and respect all clients, regardless of their backgrounds or goals.
- Client Attentiveness: Greet clients by name, check them into classes, and engage in personal conversations. Take note of client preferences and attendance history.
- LEAGUE Community: Build and maintain a strong community by getting to know clients, participating in classes, and supporting community events. Answer client questions regarding challenges, promotions, membership/package rules, class offerings, and charity events. Address client concerns with a diplomatic and resolution-focused approach.
Studio Management (20%):
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate front desk staff.
- Shift Coverage: Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staff coverage.
- Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to attract and retain clients. Assist with capturing studio moments (e.g., videos or content for social media).
- Culture: Promote a positive, team-oriented work culture.
- Errands: Assist with errands, such as picking up studio supplies and equipment, as needed.
Studio Operations (10%):
- Opening and Closing: Follow detailed procedures to open and close the studio efficiently.
- Cleaning: Maintain high cleanliness standards in collaboration with SWEAT volunteers.
- Overseeing SWEAT Volunteers: Supervise volunteers to ensure tasks are completed correctly and on time. Address any issues and report them to the Studio Lead.
