Job Title: Assistant Gym Manager
Location: LA Fitness 167th Edmonton
Reports To: General Manager / District Manager
Job Type: Full-Time (Includes evenings and weekends)
Overview:
We’re looking for a driven, energetic, and people-focused Assistant Gym Manager to help grow our membership base and support daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness and sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation:
Proactively generate leads through outreach efforts, community connections, referrals, and in-club promotions.
- Sales Execution:
Conduct tours, present membership options, and close sales by aligning solutions with member needs.
- Phone Outreach:
Make outbound calls to warm and cold leads, follow up with potential clients, and schedule appointments.
- Objection Handling:
Overcome sales objections confidently and professionally to drive conversions and retention.
- Customer Engagement:
Build relationships with members to enhance their gym experience and promote additional services.
- Operational Support:
Assist with daily club operations, ensure cleanliness and organization, and support staff as needed.
- Closing Shifts:
Comfortable and reliable when performing evening closing duties, including end-of-day reports and facility lock-up.

- Monday: Full shift
- Tuesday: Full shift
- Thursday: Half-day shift
- Friday: Full shift
- Saturday: Full shift
- Sunday: Full shift
(Must be available for evening/closing shifts as scheduled.)

Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of sales or customer service experience preferred (fitness industry a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in handling objections and closing sales
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Comfortable using basic CRM systems and tracking metrics
- Team player with leadership potential

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,500.00-$4,000.00 per month
