Description:
We are seeking a physician who will foster academic excellence. The successful candidate will participate in the clinical and academic activities of the Odette Cancer Centre (OCC). Clinical activities include inpatient and outpatient care at SHSC and OCC. Experience and interest in breast cancer is required and an interest in preclinical drug development and ex vivo models preferred. As well, within the allocated clinical time, candidates will participate on the medical oncology call roster.
Based at the Sunnybrook campus, this position is funded under an Alternative Payment Plan (APP) through the Ontario Medical Oncology Association (Provincial Oncology AFP) agreement with the Ministries of Health and Long-Term Care. Estimated remuneration will be in the range of $350,000-$400,000 annually commensurate with academic rank, qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will also be eligible to participate in the Ontario Medical Oncology Association’s group medical, dental and life insurance benefit plans.
