Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to become an Asphalt Milling Technician. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a skilled team in a dynamic industry. While previous milling or paving experience is advantageous, we are committed to training the right candidate. This is a unionized position with ample overtime and excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
● Operate milling machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
● Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
● Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
● Travel across the province to various job sites as required.
● Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:
● Required: Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
● Preferred: Previous experience in asphalt milling or paving.
● Asset: Class 1 driver’s license, heavy equipment, or mechanical experience.
● Ability to provide a driver abstract.
● Must pass occasional drug testing.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
