Qualification & Skills:
- 1 to 2 years in a role as a Truck & Coach Technician Apprentice
- Working towards a Journeyman’s Certificate, Red Seal or equivalent
- Experience in fleet operations is an asset
- Mechanical knowledge of hydraulics and electrical, including schematics and diagnostics
- Possess your own tools
- Valid drivers license with reliable transportation
- Clean criminal background check
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper performance of a fleet equipment
- Perform required safety inspections
- Follow through with standard use repairs, such as: braking systems, transmissions, drive lines, lighting and electrical systems, steering and engine components
- Mechanical knowledge of hydraulics and electrical, including schematics and diagnostics
- Maintain safe working conditions in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Administration (OSHA)
