About the team + role
The Analytics Engineering team within Robinhood’s Data Science organization plays a critical role in transforming data into strategic insights. We build foundational data products that support product development, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Our mission is to empower teams across Robinhood with trustworthy, scalable, and self-serve analytics infrastructure. We collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to ensure data is accessible, accurate, and actionable.
As an Analytics Engineer, you will lead the development of high-performance ETL pipelines, tools, and dashboards that power decision-making across the company. You’ll partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define metrics, curate datasets, and surface insights that inform everything from product strategy to regulatory reporting. This role offers the opportunity to shape the company’s data foundations and have a long-lasting impact on Robinhood’s growth.

What you’ll do
- Partner with product, engineering, and data science teams to scope and deliver analytics initiatives, including metric definitions, reporting tools, and dashboard development
- Build and maintain reliable, scalable ETL pipelines and data models using modern data tools (e.g., Airflow, Spark)
- Lead end-to-end development of high-performing ETL data pipelines, tools, and dashboard to scale insight generation to meet critical business, product, and regulatory requirement.
- Develop internal tools and frameworks to improve data accessibility, quality, and performance across the organization
- Collaborate with data scientists to turn raw data into meaningful insights that drive business outcomes
- Drive adoption of analytics best practices and promote a culture of data literacy and self-serve analysis
What you bring
- 3+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, or similar field.
- Strong expertise in advanced SQL, Python scripting, and Apache Spark (PySpark, Spark SQL) for data processing and transformation.
- Proficiency in building, maintaining, and optimizing ETL pipelines, using modern tools like Airflow or similar.
- Experience in building polished and performant dashboards using tools like Superset, Looker, Tableau.
- Strong familiarity with version control (GitHub), CI/CD, and modern development workflows.
- A strong product approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, and highly cross-functional environment.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan.
